Welcome to the fully redesigned FETISH⨁CHURCH.

If you’ve never been here before, welcome! F⨁C used to be a Mastodon instance located at london.fetish.church. The idea was ultimately to create separate instances for each city that federated with each other, but it struggled with Mastodon’s weak media hosting and general lack of horniness.

Bluesky, on the other hand, is, uh, the very opposite of that. If you’re on this page, you probably know me due to my “🔞 Adult Content” (formerly “Suggestive”) custom feeds, which collect all the posts on the site that have been labelled with a content warning. I’d used a personal account for that, which was a bad idea for reasons I detail in this thread. My plan now is to use that account as the main F⨁C presence on Bluesky, with F⨁C itself becoming my blog for writing about kink, sex and sexuality from a queer perspective.

About the name — FETISH⨁CHURCH is a big tent parish and we strive to be as inclusive as possible (there are indeed limits to this inclusivity; acts that breach consent or are otherwise abusive are anathema to our dogma). The word “church” isn’t meant to be exclusionary to people who either are a faith other than Christian, or have long since parted ways with Christianity (such as I myself did many years ago). Instead, it’s meant to evoke a place of community, where like-minded people can explore their interior spaces in a mutually supportive capacity; together, we learn about ourselves and our bodies, through safe and consensual activities.

The FETISH⨁CHURCH logo is a stylised Solomon’s Knot, meant to symbolise unity and continuous learning:

As we educate ourselves, we are united in our collective knowledge, and through this seek to better understand our relationships with ourselves, each other, and the universe around us.
